ASTEP Facilitator

The Brotherhood Sister Sol is seeking a dedicated and passionate ASTEP Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our youth development program, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of middle and high school teens.

Responsibilities:

• Co-plan and facilitate engaging group activities that promote social-emotional learning, creativity, and self-expression.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with youth members, providing guidance, care, and support to ensure their well-being and success.
• Support recruitment efforts and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with program staff to create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters a sense of community and belonging.
• Assist with setup and organization of program spaces, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience working with middle and high school youth, with a strong understanding of their needs and developmental stages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with youth and colleagues.
• Strong moral character and a positive role model, with a commitment to promoting social justice and equity.
• Proactive and engaged, with a passion for working with diverse populations and creating inclusive environments.
