Position Summary:
This full-time role involves working 40 hours per week with a focus on delivering specialized imaging procedures to adult patients. The position includes a structured day shift schedule and offers opportunities for overtime and additional shift coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct special procedures testing under the guidance of a Radiologist and Department Manager.
- Utilize advanced imaging equipment and techniques to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Perform diagnostic imaging and related tasks to illustrate anatomical structures for licensed practitioners.
- Maintain a professional demeanor that aligns with medical ethics while exercising sound judgment in service delivery.
- Ensure appropriate patient care and recognize conditions essential for the successful execution of procedures.
- Keep accurate documentation and records as mandated by regulatory authorities.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and assist in cross-training staff as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid State of Florida license.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiology.
- AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- AHA Healthcare Provider ACLS certification (to be obtained within three months of employment).
Additional Information:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education, including completing annual training related to stroke awareness and response.
