Job Overview

A dynamic company is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation systems design and implementation, with experience working on projects that involve airport baggage handling, government, freight and parcel, and warehouse distribution markets. Key responsibilities include designing, manufacturing, and commissioning automation systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with at least one year of experience in controls/PLC programming, project management, or a similar field. Strong knowledge of materials handling systems, including conveyor belts, sorting machines, and robotic pick-and-place equipment, is also essential. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, such as Siemens Simatic or Allen-Bradley PLC, would be beneficial. Additionally, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, are critical for success in this position.
