Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in providing engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems. This exciting opportunity will allow the candidate to work on diverse projects across various market sectors, including healthcare, science & technology, education, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems for healthcare, science & technology, education, and commercial projects
  • Perform Load/Energy calculations using software such as Trace 700, Carrier HAP, and similar programs
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct building surveys and documentation of existing HVAC systems
  • Develop system design calculations and select equipment for use in buildings
  • Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
  • Ensure code compliance research and coordinate work with other disciplines
  • Provide construction administration services
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of design experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office
  • Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines
  • Excellent work ethic and attitude
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance, and prioritize work
Preferred Qualifications
  • LEED certification/experience
  • Experience with laboratories/medical facilities design
