Dishware Specialist

The Levy company is seeking a skilled Dishware Specialist to join their team at the Convention Center. As a Dishware Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the kitchen area.

This position involves washing dishes, pots, pans, trays, and utensils to ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation. You will also be responsible for polishing silverware using various equipment and procedures.

• Dishwashing and Sanitation: Scraps and rinses food from dirty dishes, washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Pot and Pan Cleaning: Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures.
• Silver Polishing: Polishes silverware using burnishing machines, tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.
• Safety and Maintenance: Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures, maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per provided standards.

Achieving Cleanliness and Safety Standards: Maintains the dish area in an orderly condition, sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Other Duties: Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, helps load and unload supplies and products.
