Position Overview
As a key member of our technical team, the System Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux systems, specifically CentOS and RHEL distributions. This role demands a proactive approach to troubleshooting performance issues, ensuring optimal storage solutions, and maintaining connectivity across our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure Linux operating systems (CentOS and RHEL).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to Linux systems.
  • Manage virtual machine maintenance, including building and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and execute shell scripts to automate tasks.
  • Implement system patching using YUM to ensure security compliance.
  • Review vulnerability reports and ensure adherence to IAVA compliance.
  • Utilize STE tools such as TRELLIS agent, Nessus, ENSL, and UAM for security management.
  • Conduct security scanning using SecurityCenter.
  • Oversee Nagios monitoring and administration for system health.
  • Manage PKI server certificates, including renewal and revocation processes.
  • Utilize Ansible for automation, including creating and maintaining playbooks.
  • Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in Confluence.
  • Collaborate on intermediate shell scripting and GIT version control practices.
