Sushi Chef

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Food People Restaurant Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cutting and preparing various types of fish and vegetables for sushi dishes.
• Inspecting the quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation.
• Preparing sushi dishes according to established guidelines and recipes.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Sterilizing utensils, instruments, and equipment used in sushi preparation.
• Providing excellent customer service and interacting with guests.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in sushi preparation is mandatory.
• Preference will be given to candidates with at least 1 year of restaurant experience.
• Applicants must demonstrate dependability, have open availability, and show a strong drive to succeed.
• Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time is necessary.
• Knowledge of food safety and health codes is considered an advantage.
