Job Summary

EdgeTech Staffing is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of extrusion frames, performing repetitive assembly operations, and ensuring quality work to specified time standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of extrusion frames with minimal electro-mechanical assembly using proper grounding techniques.
• Follow work instructions and execute in-process checks using visual inspection and check lists.
• Possess an aptitude for cross-functional training to reduce takt time and utilize a variety of hand tools such as screwdrivers, hex keys, drills, saws, tape measures, and fixtures.
• Coordinate with teammates to manually integrate large subassemblies to complete a final assembly and participate in overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High School Education or GED
• Some manufacturing experience desired
• Proficient in reading and measuring using a tape measure and able to operate hand pallet jacks to move material within the plant.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent use of hand tools and long periods of standing.
