Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: $16.00-$17.00 based on experience and certifications

Work Schedule: 6 hours daily, Monday to Friday (7am-1pm)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of healthy meals and snacks, adhering to nutritional guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Participate in menu planning to meet USDA Child Nutrition Meal requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and food preparation areas.
  • Keep accurate records of food inventory and meal preparation.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a culinary role is preferred.
  • Must possess a North Carolina Qualification Letter.
  • Physical documentation in accordance with childcare regulations is required.
  • Current Tuberculosis vaccination is mandatory.
Preferred Certifications:
ServSafe and CPR/First Aid certifications are advantageous.
