About Diesel Direct Inc.
Diesel Direct Inc. is a leading provider of diesel fuel delivery services, and we are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician - Heavy Equipment Specialist to join our team. This role involves working on diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Equipment Operation: Conduct routine inspections and perform necessary repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our diesel fuel delivery vehicles.
- Performing Safety Inspections: Conduct safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documents in accordance with DOT, company, and regulatory guidelines.
- Interpreting Technical Information: Interpret work orders and technical manuals to diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and equipment.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed to maintain optimal performance.
- Testing and Verification: Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer's specifications and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Oil Trucks: Previous experience working with oil trucks is highly desirable.
- Tool Ownership: Must supply own tools for job duties.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Licensing and Certifications: CDL License is a plus; must possess and maintain a safe driving record.
Compensation and Benefits:
