We are currently looking for a dedicated Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our Program Security Office. In this pivotal role, you will support critical programs, ensuring the security and integrity of information systems. Your expertise will be essential in aligning innovative security solutions with our clients' complex needs, making a significant impact on national security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, coordination, and enforcement of information systems security policies and standards.
  • Maintain the operational security posture of information systems, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Oversee daily security operations and manage security aspects of the information systems.
  • Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments to facilitate certification and accreditation processes.
  • Implement configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
  • Evaluate and manage changes to systems, assessing their security implications.
  • Prepare and review essential documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and Risk Assessment Reports.
  • Assist in security authorization activities in line with DoD/CSS certification processes.
  • Support the Program Security Office in maintaining a robust security posture.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an ISSO, particularly with IC or DoD programs.
  • Familiarity with security tools, hardware/software security implementations, and encryption techniques.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; additional experience may substitute for education.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 standards at IAT Level I or higher is mandatory.
  • Possession of an active federal security clearance, specifically TS/SCI with a polygraph, is essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of access control systems and CCTV.
  • Experience with SCIF physical security requirements.
  • Familiarity with vetting security clearances and COMSEC.
  • Understanding of eCPRL and DD254 processing.
