Job Summary

This part-time position requires a high level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, and customer relations skills to provide excellent customer service and exceed customer expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing, packaging, and stocking produce products, as well as providing customer service and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process, package, and stock produce products according to company standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Unload stock and reload salvage as needed
  • Perform duties of floral clerk when assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers and associates
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Work Environment

The work environment is a cool environment with an average temperature range of 55-60 degrees Fahrenheit. The associate is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
