Job Summary:

As a Lobby Attendant at The Equinox Resort, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for our guests. Your attention to detail and care in preparing and maintaining public spaces will make a significant impact on our guests' stay. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well and address any concerns they may have.
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas.
  • Walk assigned floors to collect trash, soiled linen, and other items, and ensure that public areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist room attendants with heavy lifting during super cleaning and spring cleaning of rooms.
  • Clean public areas, including bathrooms, lounge areas, and hallways, in accordance with department standard operating procedures.
  • Remove soiled linen and trash from service areas and take them to the appropriate locations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guests and team members in a friendly and helpful manner.


Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience is desirable.
  • Neat and pleasant personality.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to move, traverse, and position self to reach corners and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, and operate equipment.
  • Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25lbs.
