Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pschyiatric Technician for our Behavioral Health Department who will embrace our mission and values. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will be responsible for facilitating patient-professional collaboration, monitoring therapeutic treatment, and recognizing and valuing differences in the care team.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of healthcare
- Monitor therapeutic treatment and recognize changes in patient behavior
- Create a setting conducive to opinion-sharing and collaboration among the care team
- Develop patient care protocols and procedures in collaboration with the treatment team
- Incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care and use information technology to deliver safe and efficient care
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting
