Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing complex accounting activities and financial analyses, utilizing their hands-on accounting experience and in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare month-end close entries, reconcile various account balances, and track debt drawdowns and deferred financing fees.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial reports and records to ensure accurate accounting under GAAP and company policies.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Maintain a timely three-way reconciliation of payroll transactions between the register, general ledger, and cash accounts.

  • Team Collaboration: Lead a monthly meeting between Accounting and Payroll/HR departments to discuss questions regarding payroll issues.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Experience: More than three years of general accounting experience, either in a public accounting firm or in a private corporate environment.
  • Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables, and a working knowledge of accounting software and programs.
