We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Associate to join our team at Methodist Hospital | Hill Country. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities.
Responsibilities- Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods and protocols.
- Prepare Environmental Service carts for assigned areas and ensure they are fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Spot clean, dust, polish, sweep, mop floors, clean fixtures, showers, commodes, and miscellaneous cleaning in assigned areas, including rooms for incoming patients.
- Remove soiled linens and change beds with clean linens, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our patients.
- Assist in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request, applying proper infection control practices and isolation techniques.
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Prior cleaning experience in an institution is desired, but not mandatory.
