Industrial Engine Technician III

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engine Technician III - Mechanical Services to join our team at Eastern Municipal Water District. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects, coordinating with clients, and ensuring project deadlines are met.

• Prepare project plans by gathering and analyzing client input, and making recommendations to ensure project success.
• Act as the subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Lead highly complex projects, establishing project direction and ensuring mutual understanding with programming staff.
• Balance project priorities, ensuring deadlines are met through effective management of scope creep.
• Design business application solutions by interfacing with clients and internal resources, and creating supporting documentation for new application features and functions.
• Transform functional requirements into system specifications, writing clear and concise application requirements documents.
• Leverage data analysis skills to analyze business areas, understand source systems' data, and map them to DWH data model.

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university required.
• 5+ years working experience with financial data and analytics.
• Strong independent and analytical skills.
• 5+ years working experience in project management.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts such as ETL, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Marts.
• Experience in SQL SSIS.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel background.
