Experienced LVN

Your collaboration will extend to clinic leadership, administrative personnel, attending physicians, residents, medical students, and other healthcare professionals, including LVNs and Medical Assistants, to ensure comprehensive patient care. You will uphold exemplary care standards while identifying critical signs and symptoms indicative of medical emergencies.

• Coordinate and prioritize tasks as per departmental protocols.
• Perform essential nursing duties, including vital sign assessments, medication administration, and drug refill requests.
• Execute phlebotomy, CPR, injections, and other procedures within your professional scope.
• Recognize and report abnormal laboratory results to the attending physician.
• Maintain knowledge of common and life-threatening medical conditions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing computer systems for patient care management.
• Adhere to safety protocols when handling biohazardous materials.
• Foster a collaborative work environment with healthcare providers.
• Communicate sensitive information effectively and courteously.

• Current license from the State of CA Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners, including certification in Intravenous Therapy and blood withdrawal.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Proficient in performing nursing skills within the defined scope of practice.
• Ability to recognize and respond to abnormal clinical findings.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Competence in computer operations and patient care systems.

• Familiarity with instruments and supplies for physical examinations and procedures.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as an LVN.

Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $34.61 to $45.66, commensurate with experience.
