Bakery Supervisor

Weis Markets is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of our bakery department, ensuring high-quality products and exceptional customer service.

• Lead and manage the bakery team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Develop and implement merchandising plans to meet financial goals and drive sales.
• Manage department inventories, track sales reports, and order products and supplies to meet customer demands.
• Supervise associates, oversee training, and participate in performance reviews and new hire interviews.
• Ensure smooth function of the department and store by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and OSHA requirements.
• May assist with the production of breads, pastries, and other baked goods.

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business-related or food service-related field desirable.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in management in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.
• Previous decorating experience preferred.
