Nurse Practitioner

University Hospitals is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Patient-Centered Care
- Implement the nursing process to provide safe, efficient, and effective care to patients and families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
- Contribute to Nursing Practice
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and nursing practice.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
- Lead and Mentor
- Provide guidance and support to new staff members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- Education
- Diploma in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact License (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certifications (Preferred)
