Nurse Practitioner

University Hospitals is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.

• Deliver Patient-Centered Care
  • Implement the nursing process to provide safe, efficient, and effective care to patients and families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Team
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
• Contribute to Nursing Practice
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and nursing practice.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
• Lead and Mentor
  • Provide guidance and support to new staff members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

• Education
  • Diploma in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact License (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certifications (Preferred)
