Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, NY. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Imaging Procedures: Demonstrate expertise in selecting exposure factors, positioning, and consistently producing radiologic images of diagnostic quality.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve problems efficiently and provide excellent patient care.
- Patient Care: Instruct and prepare patients for examinations, assist radiologists during procedures, and demonstrate compassion, respect, and politeness when interacting with patients.
- Equipment Operation: Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of all equipment and promptly report malfunctions to ensure seamless imaging procedures.
- Time Management: Complete all assigned procedures timely and utilize time between procedures to benefit the department by assisting others or with room turnover.
- Confidentiality and Security: Maintain confidentiality using own password and all patient care modules, and understand the role in maintaining medication security.
- Interpersonal Relationships: Demonstrate competency in interpersonal relationships with individuals of all age groups and participate in hospital performance improvement activities.
- Technical Support: Answer technical inquiries from physicians or hospital personnel in other areas, maintaining good phone etiquette.
Requirements:
- Education and Certification: Two years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician and Technician License (any tech license accepted in the state).
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) and VIR Certified.
Work Environment:
This is a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, NY, with a weekly pay range of $2697 to $2996. The shift is 5 days x 8 hours (may consider 4 days x 10 hours), with guaranteed hours not specified.
