MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo Cardiac Technologist for a travel assignment in Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Echo Cardiac Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, performing 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies, and preparing preliminary interpretations of those studies.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform all 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies
  • Prepare preliminary interpretations of those studies
  • Prepare and maintain records of patient echo studies
  • Assist supervising physicians with the training of residents, fellows, faculty, and other physicians
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound
  • Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program
