About the Opportunity
Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neurologist to join our team as a Neurohospitalist. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with our Community Practice Division in building a robust, system-wide neurohospitalist program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care as a neurohospitalist, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver state-of-the-art care to neurologic inpatients.
- Participate in timely neurologic consultations to the Emergency Department and inpatient services.
- Collaborate with our vascular neurology inpatient program, faculty neurology practice, and dedicated neurological-neurosurgical intensive care unit.
- Contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows through our affiliation with the College of Medicine.
- Engage in clinical and quality research, leveraging our cutting-edge basic and clinical neuroscience research facilities.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD, DO, or foreign equivalent).
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology or foreign equivalent, with training or experience as a neurohospitalist.
- Excellent patient care abilities and interest in teaching, as well as participation in clinical and quality research.
