Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Senior Living Recruiting Specialist. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review Resident Care Plans at the start of each shift to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each resident's needs.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nurse, and document all care provided in the resident's medical record.
  • Assist with mealtime, including feeding residents who require total or partial assistance, and ensuring their safety and comfort during meals.
  • Respond to resident calls promptly, and ensure that all residents have access to necessary amenities and services.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
