Job Title: Network Installation Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Network Installation Specialist to support the underwater development command team in Keyport, Washington. As a Network Installation Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to perform network cable plant operations, including cable terminations, cable routing, network rack configuration, and switch configurations.

You will work primarily on base in Keyport, but some travel to Bangor or PSNS may be required. You will work alongside a team of network professionals and be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of the network infrastructure.

Compensation:

$30-40/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience performing network cable plant operations including cable terminations, cable routing, network rack configuration, and switch configurations.

Experience with all types of cables- Cat5, Fiber, Coax, etc.

Experience with crimping

CompTIA Security + and/or International Information Systems Security Certification; Consortium ((ISC)2) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP); Certified Network Associate certification and/or Current Cisco Certified Network Associate-Voice Certification; Fiber Optic cable installation and termination (Certified Fiber Optics Installer (CFOI) certification).

Active Secret Clearance with T5 investigation

Ability to work onsite at NUWC Keyport 5 days per week
