Job Title: RAD - MRI Tech

We are seeking a highly skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI Tech) to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. This is an immediate travel opening in Bentonville, AR, requiring 1 year of experience.

Job Summary:

As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image production, and preparing patients for MRI scans. You will work closely with radiologists to perform procedures and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and position them for scans using immobilization and protective equipment
  • Correctly interpret doctor's written instructions and start I.V.s as needed
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images
  • Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required. You should also be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty, and have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
