Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aide to join our team at Regency Integrated Health Services. As a Nurse Aide, you will work under the direction of Charge Nurses to provide assistance with activities of daily living for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide residents with comfort and safety, detecting and reporting situations that may cause accidents or injuries.
- Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
- Assist with customary daily requirements and tasks, such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and observing intake of food.
- Utilize and log in care provided into Electronic Medical Records system.
- Measure and record vital signs, observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to nursing staff.
- Maintain care of equipment and supplies.
- Walk with ambulatory residents or push in a wheelchair as required.
- Answer call lights in a timely manner, trying to address the need of the resident or determine if assistance is needed from a Charge Nurse or another department.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is highly preferred.
- Experience as a caregiver is preferred.
- Good communication skills.
