About the Role

At PVH Corp., we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Lead Cashier to join our team. As a Lead Cashier, you will play a key role in generating maximum sales potential and upholding high customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize sales volume by providing exceptional customer service and promoting products
  • Maintain visual presentation standards that are consistent with our division philosophy and direction
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills to ensure seamless communication with customers and colleagues
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing Sales Associates to ensure a high-performing team
  • Develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient store operations
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks to meet sales and customer service goals
Customer Service / Sales
  • Ensure customer service is the top priority and provide a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Effectively oversee the cash register area to ensure customer/associate awareness at all times
  • Understand and create awareness of the factors that impact sales volume
Leadership
  • Motivate and develop associates to meet goals and objectives
  • Demonstrate teamwork within the store and company
  • Take initiative and use sound judgment to make decisions
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a positive attitude
Personnel
  • Demonstrate a professional image and conduct
  • Follow specific divisional dress code policy
  • Work as a member of a team to accomplish goals set forth in the store
  • Be flexible to work rotating hours, as assigned by management
  • Ensure that store staff is treated professionally, courteously, and respectfully
Operations
  • Execute specific management-level cash register functions per policy
  • Ensure accuracy in all paperwork
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain productivity in non-selling tasks, such as shipment processing, inventory counting, and price change activities
Visual Presentation
  • Maintain store appearance to reflect division standards
  • Replenish merchandise on a timely basis
  • Have knowledge of the store merchandise and cash register, sales floor, and stockroom organization
  • Keep management informed of all merchandise-related issues
  • Execute markdowns and re-merchandise as needed
Training
  • Complete applicable sections of the management training program that have a direct result on the Lead Cashier performance
