Radiology Technologist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Tacoma, Washington.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality radiology services to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. This includes preparing radiology rooms, developing images, maintaining equipment, and adhering to strict radiation safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform quality general radiographic and specialty images, positioning patients to best demonstrate anatomical areas of interest, and respecting their comfort and ability.
- Equipment Operation: Demonstrate knowledge of radiological equipment and operate it according to prescribed safety standards, ensuring efficient and effective imaging procedures.
- Patient Care: Provide exceptional customer service, treating patients with courtesy and respect, communicating effectively, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate records, adhere to quality assurance and quality control protocols, and suggest ways to improve patient outcomes.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues, both on and off-site, to efficiently perform radiological procedures, rotating shifts and assignments as required.
- Education: Graduate of an approved accredited radiologic technology program.
- License/Certification: Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
- Experience: One (1) year of direct experience with diagnostic procedures preferred.
