Must-Have:

Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and prioritize care based on patient needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
  • Reporting and being accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director
  • Coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting
  • Participating in identifying and meeting personal learning needs
  • Attending educational programs based on identified learning needs
  • Using patient education materials relevant to the patient population with assistance
  • Assessing readiness to learn of the patient/family/caregivers
  • Evaluating patient care and identifying expected patient outcomes
  • Seeking guidance as needed in the revision of care plans
  • Communicating relevant information to promote continuity of care
  • Demonstrating competence in the care of patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects
  • Performing bedside point-of-care testing as required for the patient care plan
  • Utilizing healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures in care delivery
  • Organizing and prioritizing care according to patient/family needs
  • Consulting with appropriate resources in a timely fashion for patients with complex care issues
  • Developing goals to promote professional growth or minimize limitations with assistance
  • Achieving goals and objectives within the identified time frame
  • Participating in promoting cost-effective care and in development and achievement of unit goals
  • Promoting a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment for all
  • Recognizing data from complex situations to determine priorities for care
  • Developing relationships with families that promote advocacy for the patient and themselves
  • Collaborating with patient/family to prepare or update the plan of care
  • Planning care utilizing available multidisciplinary resources, considering cultural and ethnic factors
  • Reading journals containing studies or articles applicable to practice and bringing ideas forward for evaluation
