Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our OB/GYN Clinic team. As an LPN, you will provide direct care to patients, including administering IV therapy, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to patients, including administering IV therapy and performing various nursing tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in patient education and health promotion activities to support patient empowerment.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and excellence in patient care.

Requirements

  • Current LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • IV therapy credentials (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal and delegation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

This position requires the ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The incumbent works in a patient care area; works in an area where patients enter; works directly with patients; and/or works with specimens that could contain communicable diseases. There may be an occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases. Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
