Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Therapist or Pre-Licensed Therapists to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with senior citizens and a commitment to improving their mental health and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for senior citizens in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and retirement communities.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with facility staff, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all ethical and legal standards.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) equivalent in the state of Tennessee, or be Pre-Licensed for certification.
  • Strong understanding of the unique mental health needs of senior citizens, or willingness to learn and be trained.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to client care.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation.
