Job Overview

Information Network Associates, Inc. (INA) is actively seeking dedicated security professionals to fulfill the role of Unarmed Security Officers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver security and resource protection services for designated projects, adhering to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as INA policies and site-specific operational procedures.
  • Uphold standards of conduct and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations within the assigned area.
  • Conduct regular patrols of premises, buildings, and property as required.
  • Manage access to specific locations effectively.
  • Apprehend and/or detain individuals within the limits of jurisdiction, following the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Respond to emergency situations in accordance with established site-specific emergency response protocols.
  • Maintain situational awareness through status charts, effective communication via telephone and radio, and the dispatch of personnel and equipment during both routine and emergency circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A college degree in a related discipline is advantageous.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement experience as a sworn Police Officer or Military Police Officer, or five (5) years of experience in security or protective services, or a combination of relevant experience and education is required.
  • Strong deductive reasoning skills to assess facts in various situations.
  • Successful completion of INA's security training program, along with any required site-specific training, is essential.
  • A valid driver's license from the state of residence and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Ability to pass INA's pre-employment background screening, including drug testing and criminal history checks.
  • Physical capability to walk, run, and navigate uneven terrain and/or pavement.
  • Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions.
  • Preparedness to encounter potentially hazardous or dangerous situations.
