Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain radiographic images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols
  • Maintain a high quality standard of imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department
  • Collaborate with other professionals in and out of the hospital to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes
  • Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs
  • Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate technical expertise, knowledge of anatomy, safety consciousness, manual dexterity, clerical accuracy, and verbal ability
  • May be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off-site diagnostic locations
