Job Title: Automotive Technician

Job Summary: Insight Global is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Superior Township, MI. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
  • Repair and replace emission components, including catalytic converters and oxygen sensors.
  • Test vehicle instrumentation, including speedometers and fuel gauges.
  • Drive vehicles for testing and evaluation purposes.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a service technician or maintenance technician.
  • Basic automotive experience, including hands-on experience with routine technician tasks.
  • Automotive certifications (ASE) and two years of trades school.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience with good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fabrication or mechanic experience.
  • Working with hybrid and electric vehicle experience.
  • Hyundai/KIA dealership experience.

Compensation: $20/hr to $24/hr, with benefit packages including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
