We are seeking an Environmental Field Chemist (also known as CleanPack Chemist) to manage, segregate, package, and evaluate chemical waste in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, as well as our internal policies and procedures.

• Work in various environments including plants, laboratories, and customer sites.
• Assist with lab packing within client facilities and participate in household hazardous waste (HHW) collections.
• Ensure that Health and Safety remains the top priority by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
• Prepare computer-generated packing lists, labels, manifests, and land disposal restriction notifications.
• Conduct inspections of staging, accumulating, and storage areas to ensure compliance with housekeeping procedures.
• Collect, segregate, and properly package waste chemicals for disposal to enhance efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Execute jobs at customer locations, including those of Fortune 500 companies.
• Oversee the final preparation and approval of all projects prior to shipment, ensuring adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policies.
• Conduct projects in accordance with site-specific Federal, State, and local regulations and health and safety plans.
• Understand customer-specific disposal restrictions and special packaging requirements.
• Sample and profile new waste streams or any waste requiring analytical testing.
• Ensure drum counts are accurate and that drum conditions meet shipping standards.
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
• Obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within six months of employment.
