Alliance Cancer Specialists is a leading community-based oncology practice in Southeastern PA, expanding our Radiation Therapy team. We are currently in search of a dedicated Radiation Therapist (per diem). The ideal candidate will possess compassion and attention to detail, eager to contribute to our committed team.

Key Responsibilities:
Under the minimal supervision of radiation oncologists and chief radiation therapists, the Radiation Therapist will:
- Administer and document radiation therapy treatments accurately as directed by a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
- Maintain precise patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record.
- Engage in the clinical training of newly hired therapists and students.
- Interpret computerized treatment plans accurately.
- Manage patient appointment schedules and ensure correct billing information is submitted.
- Assist in the clinical education of radiation therapy students.
- Perform accurate block cutting when necessary.
- Create custom molds and conduct simple dose calculations accurately.
- Support equipment Quality Assurance and daily patient care Quality Assurance as required.
- Participate in chart audits as needed.
- Serve as a mentor to staff, including mold technicians, simulation therapists, and radiation therapists.
- Provide guidance and direction to team members.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- Minimum of seven years of active practice as a Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT).
- ARRT certification is mandatory.
- A valid state license for radiation therapy is required.
