Bartender Extraordinaire

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Blue Plate Restaurant Co. As a key member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, crafting innovative cocktails, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including classic cocktails, beers, and wines.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
• Assess customer needs and preferences, and make suggestions to meet their expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies and inventory as needed.
• Provide work direction and supervision to the Barback position, if applicable.
• Participate in and complete all required training for the Bartender position.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one to three years of bartending experience preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Passion for the hospitality industry, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.

This position requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally. The ability to work in a noisy environment, with frequent exposure to loud music and conversation, is also required.
