About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center. As a member of our Cardiology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care to patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiac Unit, under the supervision of licensed staff.
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
  • Observe patients' progress and prepare reports for Registered Nurses and medical staff.
  • Collect and record patients' vital signs and specimens for lab tests.
  • Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
  • Measure and record patients' intake and output, and assist with range of motion.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Competent to perform in at least two general areas of practice (cross-trained and cross-competent to cover more than one hospital service, role, or function).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification or currently enrolled in nursing school.
  • Two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care.
