About Us

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in the community, providing a full range of medical and surgical services. These services include orthopedics and robotic surgery. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional service.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team. As a Patient Care Tech, you will work closely with registered nurses to provide direct patient care and support the nursing staff in maintaining a safe and clean environment.

About the Role

The Patient Care Tech is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. This role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. You will also be responsible for maintaining patient records, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • State CNA Certification or PCT Experience: Required
  • BLS Certification: Current or to be obtained within required timeframe

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes comprehensive medical coverage, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service).
