Part-time with Weekend Commitment - Night Shift - 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role within the Nursing Department, taking on the responsibility and accountability for delivering high-quality nursing care.

The RN oversees the care of patients and their families by employing the nursing process, exercising independent judgment, and collaborating effectively with all team members, including ancillary and support services.

The RN formulates a comprehensive nursing care plan and utilizes established clinical pathways, which are executed by the care delivery team under the RN's supervision.

The RN provides and delegates patient care activities based on individual patient needs and the skills of the team, while also supervising the care delivery.

The RN assesses patient responses to treatments and nursing interventions, making necessary adjustments to the care plan. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patients for discharge.

Qualifications
Required - Associate's Degree

Preferred - Bachelor's Degree


A minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an acute care environment is required, with a strong preference for telemetry experience and experience across multiple hospital units.

CPR certification from AHA Healthcare Provider is mandatory.

RN - Registered Nurse licensure is required.

NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale certification is required within 6 months of hire.

Specific Requirements


The Supplemental Staff RN must maintain proficiency and meet mandatory learning experiences, educational requirements, and competency standards in at least three clinical areas.
