Versatile Universal Banker

Summary: The Universal Banker is integral to delivering a comprehensive suite of banking services to clients with precision and professionalism. This role encompasses responsibilities in customer engagement, teller operations, and loan facilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of banking products and services to provide outstanding customer support.
• Perform a variety of tasks including teller functions, vault management, account establishment, and assistance with loan documentation.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and uphold customer confidentiality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and operational guidelines.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by management.
• Regularly rotate through different job functions to enhance versatility.
• Accurately manage cash transactions and maintain a balanced teller drawer.
• Oversee vault documentation and process currency requisitions.
• Support loan officers with required paperwork and documentation.
• Provide assistance to customers regarding safe deposit box services.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• At least one year of experience in a teller role within a financial institution, complemented by relevant training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A business degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard software applications.
• Comfortable with office equipment and clerical tasks.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards such as NMLS registration is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer and colleague interactions.
• Excellent organizational capabilities and decision-making skills.

• Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.

Physical Requirements:
