Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment as they are received from vendors or subcontractors. This will involve determining or assisting in determining methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for inspection, working from engineering drawings, sketches, and part specifications.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

The Receiving Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections of incoming materials, including hardware, printed circuit boards, electronic components, cables, harnesses, and wires. They will provide documentation of all inspections by generating inspection reports, first article inspection reports, and non-conforming (NCMR) reports. The successful candidate will work closely with buyers and engineering to ensure that all inspections are completed accurately and efficiently.

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in receiving inspection, with knowledge of Oracle ERP, Agile, and Blue Print. IPC 600 Certification is preferred, as is knowledge of ISO13485 and ISO standards. The successful candidate must be familiar with measurement tools, such as calipers, micrometers, gages, screw checkers, thread checkers, microscopes, and measuring machines (CMM). They must also be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
