Position Summary:
Graham Packaging Company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Specialist. This role involves working the night shift, focusing on the maintenance of blow molding machinery.
As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of equipment within the facility. Your duties will include both preventative and reactive maintenance on all production machinery and the building itself.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and enforce all safety, health, quality, and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure product quality by monitoring manufacturing processes and making necessary adjustments.
- Maintain operational controls to meet budgetary goals.
- Execute a variety of tasks to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replacing or repairing parts as needed.
- Provide emergency repairs for production equipment during operation and conduct scheduled maintenance.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Utilize mechanical skills, including troubleshooting and repair of production machinery.
- Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform necessary maintenance.
- Employ various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in your tasks.
- Identify faulty operations and defective materials, reporting any unusual situations to management.
- Assist and train production staff in the proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- An Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.
- Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is crucial.
- Proficiency in computer usage and typing is necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional customer service.
Must be capable of working independently and completing assignments within established guidelines and accepted practices.

- Clearly convey information both verbally and in writing.
Team Collaboration:
- Actively contribute to team objectives and assist colleagues as needed.
