Job Summary

Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a skilled Cardiac Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiac Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) and other cardiac tests to diagnose and monitor heart conditions
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including echocardiography machines and cardiac catheterization labs
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring patients understand their conditions and treatment options
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
