JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Preschool Educator at Nuview Union School District. In this position, you will work closely with the Program Director to cultivate a nurturing and secure environment where young children can flourish. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Engaging with children through diverse activities;
  • Encouraging independence and fostering social skills;
  • Maintaining effective communication with families;
  • Assisting in the planning and documentation of educational activities;
  • Promoting a collaborative team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued.
Skills needed:
  • Ability to connect joyfully and sensitively with preschool-aged children;
  • Understanding and addressing the unique needs of each child;
  • Utilizing positive discipline strategies effectively.
Education, Training, and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required;
  • A valid California Child Development Teacher Permit is preferred; or
  • A minimum of 24 units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development coursework.
Basic Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid California Driver's License;
  • Completion of TB and Livescan clearance;
  • Successful passing of a Physical/Mental Health Screening;
  • Current CPR certification;
  • Current First Aid certification.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Ensure all immunizations are current;

• Submit an updated resume;

• Provide three recent letters of recommendation.
