Key Responsibilities
  • Pick orders for shipment, verifying that the correct quantity and type of product is loaded.
  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials to ensure accuracy.
  • Operate a forklift or order picker to pick orders, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers, adhering to company standards.
  • Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets, complying with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
  • Report missing items or quality variances to direct supervisor, maintaining a proactive approach to quality control.
  • Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage, adhering to company quality standards.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met, executing and documenting quality inspections per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs, adhering to company standards.
  • Communicate and report any incidents, maintaining a proactive approach to safety and quality.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Pass Background and Drug Screen.
