We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at LCMC Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating skills and knowledge in use of all x-ray equipment and performance of all x-ray protocols and procedures.
  • Producing high-quality exams within the appropriate length of time for procedure.
  • Confirming patient identity, body part, and body side for every patient prior to the procedure.
  • Administering sound patient care practices according to department and hospital policies, to ensure the safety of the patient.
  • Communicating effectively with patient to obtain clinical history/informed consent from patient or patient's chart to assist the physician in optimizing the performance and interpretation of the examination.

Requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (CPR, BLS) - American Heart Association
  • Radiology Technician (ARRT) - Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board Of Examiners (LSRTBE)
