Job Summary:

Principle Placement is seeking a reliable and skilled Class A CDL driver to join our team as a dedicated driver on a local route. As a dedicated driver, you will operate on a consistent schedule, enjoying a predictable routine and regular deliveries to a single customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class A CDL vehicle on a local route, transporting goods between Reno and Livermore.
  • Drive a consistent schedule, with regular start and end times, and a set number of days off per week.
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the vehicle, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked, miles driven, and any incidents or accidents.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL license.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Class A CDL driver.
  • Ability to work a 5-day schedule, with 2 consecutive days off per week.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
