As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions.
- Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring, including prescribing medications within limits of applicable State law and following appropriate standards of care.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) such as Intelligent Routing, Meditech, Epic, and Core to document patient information and communicate with healthcare teams.
- Respond promptly to consult requests received during scheduled shifts and provide timely recommendations for patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including PMHNPs, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform psychiatric hold evaluations in the emergency department as needed.
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry.
- Valid and unrestricted DEA license.
- Proficiency in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely.
- Licensed in the state of Florida.
